Savarda Leather cluster is situated in Savarda which is 55 kms from Jaipur on Jaipur-Ajmer highway. We prepared diagnostic study report for the leather cluster involving the artisans in which we addressed the need of adopting the energy efficiency, technology tools in leather processing, use of solar energy in some processes of drying the leather and soft skill and technical skills training programs.
Our team interacted with cluster members, mapped the energy processes in leather making, need of using clean energy and recycling. We also organized training sessions of energy efficiency and modern technology in leather making.
