QBIC Associates Pvt. Ltd. engaged Kamtech Associates Pvt. Ltd. to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the establishment of a modern Vehicle Scrappage Facility. The project was designed to develop an environmentally sustainable facility for the safe dismantling, depollution, recycling, and disposal of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) in accordance with applicable environmental and automotive recycling regulations. The consultancy assignment included plant planning, process engineering, facility layout, equipment selection, utility planning, infrastructure development, and operational workflow for vehicle de-registration, dismantling, material segregation, and recovery of reusable metals and components. Kamtech also carried out financial feasibility analysis, project cost estimation, implementation planning, and technical documentation to support efficient project execution. The proposed facility aims to promote resource recovery, reduce environmental impact, encourage responsible vehicle recycling, and contribute to India's circular economy and sustainable automotive waste management initiatives.
